Things To Do In August

Welcome!

FTDS contra dances are held the 3rd Saturday of every month. Please join us for an evening of contras, squares, circles, and waltzes. Admission is only $5 for two hours of fun and fellowship.

All dances are taught and called. No previous experience or partner is required. It’s easy and fun. Just a short walk through lesson and you’re ready to dance! FTDS dances are open to the public and are non-smoking, alcohol-free. Dress is casual and we recommend flat comfortable shoes.

The doors open at 7:00PM, beginner instruction is at 7:15, and the dance begins at 7:30. We have a wonderful facility with a large wood floor. All of our dances have live music provided by The Old 78s.  You can find them at
www.theold78s.com

If you would like to get email reminders of our dances and other local events, visit our Contact_Us page to be added to our mail list.  Our Calendar_of_Events page has more detailed information on regular dances, special events, and free classes.
