Mt. Comfort Presbyterian Church

Fayetteville, AR

FTDS contra dances are held the 3rd Saturday of every month. Please join us at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville for an evening of contras, squares, circles, and waltzes. Location directions are on the Dance Location page of this site. Admission is only $5 for two hours of fun and fellowship.

All dances are taught and called. No previous experience or partner is required. It’s easy and fun. Just a short walk through lesson and you’re ready to dance! FTDS dances are open to the public and are non-smoking, alcohol-free. Dress is casual and we recommend flat comfortable shoes.

The doors open at 6:30PM and the dance begins at 7:00 with a short beginner instruction. We have a wonderful facility with a large wood floor. All of our dances have live music provided by The Old 78s.  You can find them at
